American comic classics : a collection of U.S. postage stamps

This 80 paged collector's edition stamp album collector's pays homage to many classic American comics, including but not limited to Dick Tracy, Popeye, Li'l Abner, Flash Gordon, and Krazy Kat. Krazy Kat was a comic strip set in in Coconino County, Arizona. Krazy Kat, created by George Herriman, was published for more than three decades, from 1913-1944. On October 1, 1995, the 32-cent Krazy Kat postage stamp was issued by the US Postal Service as a part of the Comic Strip Classics series, Scott #3000. The Krazy Kat postage stamp is currently on display at the Smithsonian's National Postal Museum.
