Kay Dryden
Kay Dryden, of San Francisco, California, is an independent business consultant and former partner in the international management consulting firm of Mitchell Madison Group, specializing in business development, strategy and reengineering engagements for corporate clients, primarily in the financial services sector. Trained as an attorney, she practiced law for about 25 years during which time she served as general counsel for three San Francisco-based companies in succession; LucasFilm, Charles Schwab and Del Monte Foods. She is a registered securities principal, registered options securities principal and registered financial and operations principal. Kay is currently a trustee of the Nationwide Mutual Funds, a family of 100 funds managing $60 billion and affiliated with Nationwide Insurance. Kay has in leadership roles served on the advisory boards of Wells Fargo Bank and Nollenberger Capital Partners. Throughout her career, Kay has served on the boards of professional organizations and non-profits including the San Francisco Bar Association, Bay Area General Counsel Group, San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, City College of San Francisco Foundation, San Francisco Art Institute, the Ansel Adams Center and the San Francisco Zoo. Kay is a graduate of Barnard College and Columbia Law School and the proud mother of twins with her husband Charles Ferguson.
