104. Recorde is famous as an author of textbooks in English and done as a dialogue between the teacher and pupil. This book is part of a series that includes The Pathwaie to Knowledge (1551) and the Gate of Knowledge (now lost). This work is a mathematical treatment of astronomy and is a very early favorable presentation of the world system of Copernicus.
