Blume's commentary on plants of the East Indies includes 213 beautiful hand-colored engravings.
Condition and Treatment:
The Libraries' copy suffered water damage at some point in its past and cannot be used because of mold and stains. A number of the pages are torn and vulnerable to further damage, and the volumes have been improperly bound. It needs to be completely disbound, the pages dry cleaned, repaired and reinforced, and rebound into separate text and illustration volumes (a total of 8 new, quality bindings).
