Chaptour Guides

If you are a teen interested in libraries, museums, or education, consider applying to our Chaptour Guides program. Chaptour Guides are high school students leading gallery tours and providing educational experiences for the public in Smithsonian Libraries’ exhibition spaces at your favorite Smithsonian museums. From leading a tour of out-of-towners through our exhibit space in the National Museum of American History to providing young museum visitors with interactive art interpretation kits at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, teen Chaptour Guides get hands-on professional experience working in libraries and museums and with the public of all ages.
