Natural History Library Reopening

March 17, the Libraries celebrated the National Museum of Natural History Main Library Reopening. With 175 guests in attendance, Secretary Clough, Cristián Samper, Nancy Gwinn, Eva Pell, Scott Miller and Ann Juneau cut the red ribbon marking this milestone. The Main Library holds over 540 journal subscriptions and 160,000 volumes on biology, ecology, evolution, biodiversity, geology, and paleontology. New features of the library include wifi access, computer workstations with printers available, study tables with outlets, collaboration areas, and a coffee bar. The library also has two conference rooms which can be reserved by appointment, containing DVD and Blu-ray players, video-conferencing capabilities, and interactive SMART Boards.
