Anna is the Head Librarian for the Hirshhorn Museum. She has her M.A. in Hisotry of Art from American University, Washington, D.C. and her M.L.S. and B.A. (French and Italian) degrees from University of California, Berkeley. Her paper on Matisse was presented at the National Gallery for the Mid-Atlantic Symposium. She has compiled several Biographies and Exhibition histories for Hirshhorn Museum exhibition catalogs and for Abbeville Press, Modern masters series. Her interests include contemporary art, social media and artists' books and travel. Grants include Smithsonian Webb Fellowship Award to study at the Getty Center, Los Angeles; Smithsonian Research Opportunity Grants for IFLA conferences in Istanbul, Moscow, New Delhi, Stockholm, Havana, Brighton (Arlis)/London, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Jerusalem. Originally from California, she has worked as a Smithsonian Study Tour Representative and Tour manager for several tours to Florence, Siena, Venice, Tuscan Countryside and one to Provence.
