Bonnie S White

Library Technician

Hello there! I started at the Smithsonian Libraries in May 2012 as a library technician, where I work in the Vertebrate Zoology libraries, Vertebrate Paleontology, National Museum of Natural History library and (occasionally) Smithsonian Environmental Research Center library. I came from working in archives at the College of Southern Maryland, and, before that, the Special Collections in Performing Arts at the Performing Arts Library at University of Maryland.

I was born in DC, but have lived my entire life in Southern Maryland. I’m a complete nerd; I like computers, technology, Doctor Who, art, music, science, and history.

Education:
B.A. in Music Performance from the University of Maryland (GO TERPS!), College Park, MD, 2005
A.S. in Computer Science from the College of Southern Maryland, La Plata, MD, 2012
M.S.L.S. at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, Clarion, PA, 2015
