Elizabeth Broman

Elizabeth Broman is a Reference Librarian at Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum and specializes in decorative arts, pop-up books, trade catalogs. Other areas of interest and knowledge are gravestone art and architecture, cemeteries and the Victorian era. Currently serving on the Board of Trustees of The Association for Gravestone Studies, she is on the Archives Committee. Elizabeth has worked with the Smithsonian Institution Women's Committee on preservation grant projects and with the SI Collections Care and Preservation Fund (CCPF) since 2010 to obtain grants for the Cooper Hewitt Library’s Special Collections.
