Maggie Dittemore

Librarian

Maggie is librarian of the Powell Library.  As one of the larger branches of the Smithsonian Libraries, it serves anthropology-related research, publication and programming throughout the Institution.  Maggie has a background in both anthropology and libraries.  She has also worked on a number of projects to promote services and the access, preservation and use of collections both in the Smithsonian and as a member of professional organizations, including the American Library Association and the American Anthropological Association.
