Patricia L. Reid

Library Technician

Pat comes to the AA/PG Library with 24 years of experience as a technician in the library at the former Corcoran Gallery and School of Art and Design, and has an undergraduate degree in fine arts from Trinity University here in DC.

Pat will be doing a little of everything at the branch, but her primary duties will be working with the book collections, ordering new titles, re-classifying, and interlibrary loan. Pat was instrumental in the cataloging and preservation of the amazing artists’ books collection at the Corcoran, so we are lucky to have someone with both subject specialty and a wealth of experience at AAPG.

Born and raised in Washington, DC, she has spent much of her life in libraries and museums so working for the Smithsonian is like the dream job for her.
