This work describes the plants of Tuscany and Umbria; it is one of several works on the flora of Italy by the Italian naturalist Savi who taught botany and directed the botanic garden at the University of Pisa. Our copy is from the library of Prof. Jerry Stannard and was donated in his memory. Two volumes of four.

Condition and Treatment: 

Two volumes. Original paper wrappers. One volume housed in drop-spine box. Vol. 1: Upper cover detached; surface dirt. Vol. 2: Covers intact, text-block with uncut pages; surface dirt.Treatment: Dry-clean both volumes. Re-attach cover to vol.1. Dry-clean and create matching linen box for vol.2.
