The Cooper-Hewitt has a large collection of 19th century illustrated children's books, in many languages. This is an Illustrated storybook book of a German winter fairy tale.
Condition and Treatment:
The cover is in good condition with the exception of the spine which is torn. The endpapers are detached but the sewing remains intact for the rest of the textblock. Re-attach the endpapers, repair the spine and re-case the volume in the original case.
