Condition and Treatment:
The cover is separating form the text block and the spine is torn. The cover is soiled and showing signs of abrasion from use. The paper is very brittle and the first section is detached.
Conservators will dis-bind the volume and re-sew the textblock. The cover will be dry-cleaned and repaired and the re-sewn textblock re-cased in the original cover.
