A photographic album about the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition containing 50 exquisite views of the buildings, other structures, and the beautiful botanical gardens of the fair. One of the plates is a folding oversized leaf featuring the bird's eye view of the entire exposition.
Condition and treatment:
The damaged covers of the book need to be repaired and reattached with the original strings. The numerous tears will be mended and losses will be filled with special Japanese paper and wheat starch paste.. A new elegant protective drop spine box will be constructed to shield the item when shelved.
