Brandee R. Worsham

Reference Librarian

Brandee Worsham currently works as the Reference and Assistant Librarian in the National Museum of African American History and Culture Library.  She is responsible for assisting with reference queries, library instruction, collections management, outreach and special projects, and all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the library.  Brandee previously worked with the Natural and Physical Science Libraries of Smithsonian Libraries as a library technician for five years.  Prior to SI, she worked as a Library Practitioner II for eight years with Northern Virginia Community College where she had duties in collection development, reference services and circulation.  Brandee has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, and earned a Master’s in Library and Information Science from Drexel University in 2015.  Brandee is located in the NMAAHC Library.
