The Collectors Club of New York was founded in 1896, making it one of the oldest existing philatelic societies in the United States. This book is about the philatelic history of oil. The book ends with a journey through World Wars One and Two, ending when the author delves into each continent in order to demonstrate the influence of the oil industry on philately.
