Smithson

This book in James Smithson's library - annotated by him in French - was mistakenly transferred to the Library of Congress in the mid-1800s. SIL's Special Collections staff discovered it there, as well as, seven other Smithson books several years ago. LOC graciously agreed to return them. In the process, unfortunately, this book lost its front cover.
