Natural History Library Reopening
March 17, the Libraries celebrated the National Museum of Natural History Main Library Reopening. With 175 guests in attendance, Secretary Clough, Cristián Samper, Nancy Gwinn, Eva Pell, Scott Miller and Ann Juneau cut the red ribbon marking this milestone. The Main Library holds over 540 journal subscriptions and 160,000 volumes on biology, ecology, evolution, biodiversity, geology, and paleontology.
George Dyson to Speak at Smithsonian Libraries
The Smithsonian Libraries will host George Dyson for a lecture on Wednesday, March 14, at 5:00 p.m. in the National Museum of Natural History's Baird Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the public.
